Got a nice card and a beautiful poem and note from my Stepmother yesterday. We’re all thinking about pop today.

Beach Day
Went to the beach today. Here’s a quick watercolor I did in the watercolor moleskine.
Finding your passion
The word passion comes from the Latin “patior,” meaning to suffer or to endure. These days, losing its uncomfortable roots, passion is a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion toward a subject, idea, person or object. Here’s how to get it:
Revisit and repossess your core dreams and fantasies.
Consider your dreams to be private, unique and sacred.
Get help from and watch the actions of the already passionate.
Indulge, honour and live in your own imagination.
Don’t talk about it, do it.
See your passion manifested into action or production.
Portrait Series
Well I guess I can reveal what I made for my siblings and stepmother, now, since Christmas is over, and I delivered Richard’s today. These are silkscreen, and acrylic on canvas, and are 10×8 inches.
Sucky weather
Wow, 13 inces of snow in less than 24 hours. Merry Christmas.
At least it was lif=gt and fluffy, except where the plows packed it in, of course. The snow at the end of my driveway was about 3 feet deep, and packed in. I started to shovel it this morning after I got home from work, so we could get Jenny out and off to work, but she decided it was taken too long and walked to work, tellingme to stop and take a break “right now”. I did, and am happy that I did, because the snowplow came by about 45 minutes later, and filled what I’d shoveled right back in.
I got the driveway pretty well, and the walkway, then later asked Matt to widen out the end of the walkway, shovel out the mail box, and make a path to the cellar door. He did a superb job.
Maybe I’ll take pictures tomorrow.
That’s it from here today, except I finished Jenny’s presents today. WOOT!
Oh, and, my sister Denise brought over Xmas fudge. Another WOOT!
(We’ve got way too much junk food.)

That is all.
Good Morning
End of Days
Well, at least the end of November. It’s been an up and down month, but it’s over, and it’s ending on a couple of high notes.
I’ve finished the Xmas presents for my siblings, and stepmother, for one.
I went to Hallowell to the Harlow Gallery and dropped off 3 paintings yesterday, for their 8x10x80 show, that starts Friday (with a special viewing tomorrow night, in conjunction with their 50th anniversary party), and ends on the 14th of December.
Go early, buy often. 😀
See you in December.
